It seems like just yesterday, but a year has gone by since we shot an engagement session for Kelly and Ed at Mills Mansion. On Saturday, May 8, the big day was here at last.
The wedding ceremony was at the quaint Immaculate Conception Church in Haines Falls and the reception followed at Hunter Mountain. Every moment of the day, from the first dash of hairspray to the last dance, was relaxed, fun, and done with class. Kelly and Ed, thanks for letting us share in your special day to document the happiness that exists between you. Your love shines through in all the photos and we hope you enjoy them as much as we enjoyed taking them.
Preparations: Kaatskill Mountain Club
Ceremony: Immaculate Conception Church
Reception: Hunter Mountain
Bride & Bridesmaid Dresses: Alfred Angelo from Town Shop Bridals & Formals
Hair and Makeup: laV Beauty
Cake: JaBelli’s Bakery
Flowers: Douglas Koch Designs, Ltd.
DJ: Roger Maben

Karen and Shashana from laV Beauty did a great job on the girls’ hair and makeup.

Ed and the guys were ready in no time, so we had plenty of time to snap some photos before heading to the church.

Rockstar Ed…

Kelly’s dad and Maid of Honor and sister Niki helped her up the stairs of the church.

I think this photo truly captures the happiness that Kelly feels when she is around Ed.

Right after the priest introduced Kelly and Ed as husband and wife, they shared this warm embrace on the alter, such a great moment.

Douglas Koch Designs did a great job on the floral arrangements.

North/South Lake provided a nice backdrop for some of the bridal portraits and bridal party photos.

Kelly and Ed really like grass, so the place card table was covered with live patches of sod and the cake was decorated with blades of grass as well.

Both Niki and Scott killed in their toasts to the couple, and had the whole room laughing with good stories about Kelly and Ed.

We captured so many great shots of Kelly dancing with her father. This one stood out above the rest however, as Kelly looked up at her dad while her sister Niki snapped a photo in the background.

Kelly and Ed went easy on each other with the cake tasting, but Kelly did take the opportunity to smash some cake in the face of her bridesmaid Meg as Ed laughed in the background.

The guests had a blast dancing the night away to the classic tunes played by Roger Maben.

Ed and his best man Scott rock out with some of their friends as they scream the words to some vintage 80′s hair metal.

Congratulations Kelly and Ed!
